1964 Ford Fairlane 500

1964 FAIRLANE 500 Thunder Bolt Fairlane 427 REPLICA!! (Best one I have seen) Ford only built 100 of these real cars, 49 of them were Manual transmission & 51 were Automatic transmissions. This car was built to replicate one of the 51 automatic transmission cars that were built! Fiberglass light weight hood, fenders & Trunk lid & Bumpers. The shock towers were shaved to fit the ford FE Big Block! Built C6 Transmission with 2800 rpm stall converter. Ford 9inch with 3.50 ratio. Thunderbolt rear axle support. front disc brake conversion. New fuel tank. Original style ($3,400.00) Radir single ribbed wheels. Thunderbolt interior. Electric radiator fans. Dual Quad Holley carbs. Ram air tubes. Dual high riser intake. High Riser heads. Roller rockers Harlan sharp. Roller lifters. Custom ground cam. Ceramic coated headers. Radio delete panel on dash. Manual steering(Correct to real car)rear battery mounted in trunk. Thunderbolt tow bars up front. Pertronix ignition with 500 rpm rev limit, but engine was built for 7000 rpm. Center oiler 427 Built by Barnett High Performance to a 482 FE! Dyno sheets. This car was a no expense build. the owner we purchased it from owned it for about 5 years. Car was Originally a Kentucky car, old owner purchased bought it from a Gentlemen in Howell and finished building the car. It's has a few sport (paint bubbles) on the passenger door, and a small run in the paint on the trunk. Again, this is the nicest "REPLICA" I have seen with the best parts available used to build it.
